BBQ in rain

We were invited to a BBQ on Canada Day. We had promised the kids swimming, and Sarah jumped in, even if it was raining.

Adrian climbed in, but held onto Mommy for dear life.

Once the sun was out, Auntie Mandy, Courtney, Nicole as well as a few others joined too.

We played, ate, and had fun. Thanks!

Camping in Sudbury

We stayed one night in sudbury as we heading back home to Alberta.

Our tent was really close to the bathrooms and just down the street from the river. We ate dinner at the river, and listened to the loons calling to each other. This isn't a sound we here in Alberta.

Locks

We also stopped to watch a boat go through the locks. It was a really big boat!

They raised the road to allow it to pass. Closed the door behind it. We watched it sink further and further down.

Then the doors opened at the bottom, and the boat come out.
