Cleaning up or making a mess?

Kids made cookies last night leaving a big mess of flour on the table.  This morning Jane was found with a paint brush in a pile of flour.  The question is, she is helping to clean or making a bigger mess.

Elves need caffeine to?

We woke up to find Jane making coffee.

As every kid woke up this morning they and asked the same question "How will dad make his coffee? "..  maybe jane was  feeling grumpy and wanted some caffeine.

It's a good thing dad has a tassimo or we would have also had  grumpy dad!

Jane and the Candy Canes

Today we found Jane in the Christmas tree with a bunch of Candy canes.  It was hard to see Jane past all the candy canes she was holding.  We think she was greedy, and hungry and wants to eat them all.  She will have a stomach ache tomorrow. I am sure!  Adrian thinks she will be so sick she will have to stay at the north pole for a day.

Fishing indoors is fun until someone gets hurt.

Today we found Jane on top of the fish tank looking for some dinner.  Adrian  came for moms phone to take these pictures.  This looked like fun until the excitment of the lynch household at 6:30 am on a Saturday  morning startled her, causing her to jump and  lose her grip on the rod and fall almost 5 feet to the floor below narrowly escaping fallling into the fish tank herself.

The number 1 rule of having an elf is "no one is allowed to touch the elf". Her magic would leave her and she would be unable to return to the north pole and report to santa.

To save Jane from this fate, Kenny quickly used some clean kitchen tongs and picked Jane back up off the floor. (Jane still has scars from her first encounter with our dogs when she fell onto the floor the first year she was here.)
We think she will be ok.

Jane is laying with jesus

We found Jane laying down today.  After hanging upside down yesterday i guess she needed to recoup.   So she found a spot with moms nativities and made herself comfortable.

Elf Jane is back

We spent part of the day adding Christmas lights around the living room and on the Christmas tree.   Not wanting to be left out,  Jane must have tried to string her own lights...oops!

Jane's left, now what?

For the last day Jane hung out in a Christmas wreath.  She left with Santa and will be back next year.

I wonder what we can blog about daily this month coming up?  Any ideas?

Flour Angels

Jane  into the flour, but not to bake, but to have some fun.

Jane is Reading

We found Jane laying down, reading the original version of "mansions".  It's a story of a man who does good things only if people can see what he has done.  One night he dreams he has died and gone to heaven.  Everyone is given a mansion to live in, but his is only a shack.  The reason is he received payment for his good works on earth, from man, leaving little to build with above.  While the others did good things with no one seeing all the good they did to help others.
