I think its time to cut the lawn.

We have only cut the backyard once this summer so far. As you can see, I think it might be about time to cut it again.

Courtney is standing in the uncut grass beside our cherry tree. Can you even see the tree?

Then she sat down in the grass. We almost lost her. But the sparkle of her headband helped us to loctate her.

It took over two hours to cut the whole thing, and the lawn isn't even that big.

Dandelions

Pictures the kids took of our backyard, and the dandilions that live in it.

We are wondering if we have more grass, or more dandelions.

Ouch! Sidewalks can hurt!

Kenny was outside playing one evening. We all heard a scream, and ran to Kenny. He had been running down the sidewalk, when he fell. He had bleeding, and a goose egg on his head. Then is nose started swelling and bruising. He had not a mark on his hands or knees. Thinking that perhaps he had broken his nose, we took him up the the Raymond hospital. One the way, Mommy had to keep touching him and shaking him to keep him awake.

He arrived, and was checked out by the doctor. Nothing broken, just very sore, and he had a mild concussion. After pain medication to relieve his head ache, he was all smiles!

Ouch, those sidewalks can really hurt. Especially when your face catches you.
