This is a view of Daddy's Room in Calgary. He sleeps here
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights every week, then is home for the other three nights.
He has the biggest room in the house that he shares with four other guys. He will be staying here for the entire summer and
possibly into the fall if they don't get the contract done on time.
He is installing
access control systems into schools in Calgary. These systems will allow staff and students to enter the school buildings, as well as take attendance, replace student cards, and pay for food in the
cafeteria, (you put money on them like a gift card). It is an all in one
"smart card".
We miss him when he is gone, but are happy to spend all day Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday with
him. Daily phone calls and the webcam also help pass the time faster.
Sarah is working on her room. She has found the floor! she is sorting out the trash, and things that don't belong in her room. She has also found that picking up her things from the floor, and placing them into a bin is not as overwhelming. This way she just works until the bin is empty, takes a break then can go back to work later after filling the bin again. She is hoping to finish her room today or early tomorrow!
Courtney and Nicole are also trying this method, but first needed to find their beds, and dressers, and shelves. They also have cleaned up 5 bins already, and are finding homes for everything. They still have a LONG way to go, but hopefully the room will be clean in the next few days. (no promises) Keep on working! You can do it!
