Magrath Day Parade

We all love a parade, but a magrath day parade is the best. (so we think!)
On Saturday everyone lines up on the curb, or in the back on the van (Daddy), and we wait for it to start.

We see the traditional police car to start the parade. Then a few banks, horses, local companies floats, family and school reunion floats go by each throwing handfuls of candy.

At the end of the parade, we always get a good spraying from the Magrath Fire Departments water truck! Quick, hide the camera, , close the candy bag, put down your head, and squeal, as you get hit with a refreshing wall of water.

Free Pancake Breakfast

Part of Magrath Days tradition is the free pancake breakfast the friday before. Ken has Fridays off, so we all walked down to the ATB (bank) and had juice, sausages, and pancakes.

What did you do to your hair?

Adrian was supposed to be brushing his teeth before bed. Mommy and Daddy were standing in the dining room, when the realized that noise from the bathroom wasn't a toothbrush, it was a razor. Mommy and Daddy ran as fast as they could to the bathroom, but it was too late! AHHHH! WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR?!?!?! We couldn't help but laugh! We snapped a picture, and took him outside to finish the job.

We tried to cut it really short, but the huge bald spot down the middle was very obvious. So, off it all came. So here is Adrian now! Now he has to worry about mosquito bites, and sun burn on his head.
