Saying Goodbye

We were so happy to have family move into the area, and are sad to see them go. Ken's Aunt Joy, has decided to leave Lethbridge and go back east. For her last day in Alberta, our family went to Waterton Park to show off the sites, and say goodbye!

Aunt Joy, her son Trevor, and a friend of theirs, all traveled together. We showed them the animals, the landscapes, and then shared a picnic lunch. There was even birthday cake! We let the dogs play in the lake, along with the kids, and then packed it up to head home.

It was a great day to spend together. We will miss you Aunt JOY!!

Courtney's Birthday!

Courtney was so exited to have her very own guitar!
Kid size! This was from Auntie Mandy.

She also go some very interesting rocks from Casey. Some were fossils, and this one was used to grind things, it would become more and more bowl shaped as it is used.
Here she is posing with Grandpa before her baptism. She is excited to be eight, ans has chosen to be baptized.
After the bapstim, we ate, and then open the rest of her birthday presents.

Playing Around

We received a new to us, double mattress, and was throwing out the extremely bad, sagging, queen that we wouldn't want to torture anyone else with, mattress.

We had it part way down the stairs, to put it out in the garage, when it fell. The kids then realized how much fun this could be.
