First Science Crate

Our first science crate arrived and we had so much fun. This was a kindergarden math level, but all the kids had fun playing with it.

It used the legend of Mr Lemon. He supposedly found a huge gold deposit in the rocky mountains of Alberta, they killed his friend that was with him at the time when they got into an arguement. A few natives watched what had happened, and reported it to their chief. The chief cursed the mine, so no one could ever find it, because of the evil it brought to men. Me Lemon, returned year after year, with his map and journal, but never found the huge gold deposit again. No one else has found it either.

The math crate had activities about the animals you could find in the mountains, magnet games, bridge building, and shape design (with foam mats).

We loved it so much, we are looking forward to the next crate arrival.
