Toronto Science Center

The Toronto Science Center was huge! The kids had fun controlling the fountain, and watching water jump, shoot, and bounce.

Kenny and Sarah took turns on a space chair. It floated on air, and they had to try and float it over flashing targets on the floor. It was not easy.

Courtney and Daddy worked together to make perfect smoke rings. Courtney tried to do it alone, but it wasn't as easy.

Nicole sent messages down tubes using air. She had to jump up and down on a big blue bench, to get the tube to move. Nana Shortt and Antie Dawn stood and cheered her on.

Nicole had her picture taken, then it appeared in a huge water droplet picture that slowly moved up to the ceiling. Each kid is standing under her picture. Nicole, Courtney then Sarah.

We saw huge airplanes fly over the hotel mommy and daddy stayed in on their honeymoon.

Kenny is using a cash resister to buy plastic fruit, bread, meat, vegetables, boxed goods. It was a grocery store just the perfect size for kids. After filling his cart, he bought his items, then sorted them back onto the shelves.

Sarah plays around with camouflage. Are you there somewhere? All we see is legs and a floating head.

We also saw a huge reptile display. We saw frogs, snakes, and lizards. Adrain thought that these sticky lizards were really neat. They stuck to the glass right as his height.

One of Mommys favourite displays was the one with the checkered squares. It had a sign on the outside of the tunnel asking us to walk only on the black squares. Everyone followed the sign and carefully avoided the white squares.
Upon reaching the end, the display asked 'why did we avoid the white squares?' Nothing would happen if we had stepped on white, but we are so used to following the signs and rules as a society that we didn't question what it was asking us to do. Should we following without question? or should we think first? Rules are here for a purpose, but do we need to follow society or think for ourselves.
Mommy thought it had some very intersting questions to think over.

We had a great day, and saw so many amazing and wonderful things.
