It is the remains of one of our glass shower doors.
This morning at 7:30, we woke to a loud crash. Mommy thought it was the front window, Daddy, ran right for the bathroom.
It was still settling when he ran in. It sounded like rice krispies as it continued to settle in the tub for several minutes.
Glass was everywhere, the floor, the hall, the counters, and the sink. But most of it landed in the tub with the kids toys. 
We are all so thankful that no one was in the bathroom at the time, or in the tub! We scooped it out with a dust pan and broom, then vacuumed the rest. We still have glass in the drain that Daddy wil clean out later.

WOW ! That's a way too exciting way to wake up! Glad no-one was hurt! Any ideas why it shattered??
Nope! No one was in the room, or awake, including the dog. I have no idea why a glass shower door would shatter in the early morning with no one around.
If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them!
It shall remain a mystery I guess.. a wild guess would be that they were somehow under pressure.. warping of the frame or somesuch? I like your curtain though! Looks great
