More Food

This is a stack of cases of empty cans. We borrowed a machine to seal food into cans. This is for some of the sacks, so we can put the cans downstairs, and not worry about the mice, or other things that can harm the sacks and spoil the food. It also will allow us to store the food longer.

We also got lots of toilet paper. This we stuff under Mommy and Daddy's bed.

The next picture is the stack of cans that we already had filled. There had been more sacks of food, but we had made an assembly line, and had already filled 9 cases. Each case contains 6 huge cans. One can can hold approx 2.8 L, or 5 lbs of beans or wheat.

The next picture, is where we took all the filled cans, and placed them downstairs, with the other food we had just purchased. Again, we made a line, and got everything downstairs and organized.

We are full, in this little room, but we will use the other shelves downstairs, for the rest of the food that we seal into cans.

This is enough for about 3 months. We are so happy, because there has been times, we have to use or storage. and knowing we have it is such a relief.
