learning a new way to cook

We had a great opportunity!

A man in our church asked out family to come to his house and learn how to cook in a dutch oven. 

He set up and area for the kids to help prepare the food.  They got to make the rolls, make cinnamon knots for dessert, and chop the chicken and mix the ingredients together to make the sauce.

he then showed us how to put the coals on time, and underneath, to make a wonderful lunch.  We all had a great time, and enjoyed a lunch at his house with his wife.

we all learned something new and had a great time!

Ken has an aging program on his cell phone.  We had a good laugh at how the boys age!

New Advertising Logo's Look Great!

Ken is going up to a security conference and trade show on Wednesday in Calgary.

He wanted to be able to show off his new business while he was up there. He brought in a shirt he already owned, to put his logo on to, and added the hat.  The local business "All 'N Stitches" did a great job! They look AMAZING!

Ken had his logo purposely put on the wrong side of the shirt.  This is so that when he reaches in to shake someones hand, their eye is drawn to the company name.  Takes a little getting used to, but we LOVE the idea.

Now, we just to get the website up and running!

Growning Salt Cystals

"This is a salt Crystal.  And I am fasinated at it.  And I love it. 

Salt and rock tied to a pencil and in a jar hanging.  And the jar had hot water and salt in it.  It took lots of days. 

I want to hang it somewhere in my bedroom." Kenny says, as he licks the salt.

The Biggest Summer Sausage!

Adrian stands holding the biggest Summer Sauage we have ever seen! Mommy went into a wholesale store, and came out with this! She sais it was an amazing deal!

We are not complaining! its going to taste great in all the recipes she is planning on making it into.

And Adrian can use it for exercising!

Magic Mountain

 Ken was responsible for the meals for a few days at our house. For breakfast he had the kids work together to make "Magic Mountain". Our neighbors call it that... and the name has stuck in our family.

Being a Dad, he served it with sweet syrup, when a healthy Mom would have served it with yogurt, and fresh fruit..... But when your not cooking, who can complain.....

.. only the Dad, who doesn't understand why the kids are flying off the walls.

Courtney LOVES Cats!

Anutie Mandy thought she would love everying about cats, including the kittly litter pan.

So she brought over the pan, stuck some candles in it, and served it for Courtneys 10th Birthday.

Yumm!
