Baptisim gifts
When we got home we opened gifts she had been given. Just to name a few, there was a bookmark with marking pencil attached, a homemade scripture bag (from Mom), a book to write down all her memories of her baptism, and a necklace with CTR (Choose The Right).
She even received a large white towel with her name embroider on it, from the primary presidency to dry off with after her baptism .

Baptism
One of the great things about being eight, is that at church, you are big enough to choose baptism. She was so excited about this very special day. She choose the songs we would sing, who would say the prayers,(Kenny, and Nana Moore) and who would talk to her about baptism and the gift of the holy ghost.(Brother and Sister Hovey, neighbours since we moved here)
She asked her Uncle James to do the baptism for her, and Aunt Janay played the piano.
She wore all white, and after she changed into a special white dress! Isn't she beautiful! What a special Day!

Nicoles Birthday
I can't believe that we have lived out here so long now. She was only seven months old when we moved out, and now she is having her eighth birthday!
She had cake, and then gifts from each of the kids. The kids thought of what they had, they they could give her. She got Sarahs old writing desk, Kennys Horse Blanket, and Courtneys stuffed mouse she had made.
From Mom and Day, she got her own set of scriptures. She was so excited because it is LARGE PRINT! Now she can see all the words clearly enough to sound out the unfamiliar words without guessing!

Pancake Tuesday
Today is pancake tuesday! So we made breakfast with Newfie Pancakes... or Toutons. Yummy!
It is bread dough, fried in a pan. We dipped them in Apple Syrup, Saskatoon Syrup, Honey or the traditional "molasses".
It was a good treat!
But they were gone so fast, we didn't get a picture!
