A day with Stanley

Sarah brought home "Flat Stanley" from school.
It is a character out of a book they had read, and she was to spend the day with him, and record their adventures.

This is what they did together.

Flat Stanley learned a little about the body,

napped with Nicole,

read books,

picked apples,

played in the doll house,

visited the Lethbridge Library,

saw the fishes

traveled in the car,

sat in the hammic,

and slept in a doll bed, complete with TV, and mirror.
All around, he had a good day.

Daddy is sleeping in bed, and we all try to wake him up!

Suprise!

Daddy is dressed and pretending to sleep!

Guess the joke is on us!

SuperMan to the Rescue

Kenny was invited to a Super Hero birthday party.
So mommy added a red cape (pillowcase) a red shirt, some tin foil arm bands, and a "S" emblem with foil, cardboard and a stapler and a little hair gel. It is amazing how SUPER these small items make us feel!

Super Kenny, to the rescue!!

Ic Cream to Share

Daddy won some money on a scratch ticket, and then took us all out for ice cream. Adrian had a small cup of a little bit of ice cream, but thought that he would climb up onto the table to get closer to Kenny and his ice cream cone.

Kenny loves to share with his brother, so he thought nothing of sharing his cone, and Adrian really appreciated it too!!

LEES ARE HERE!

The Lee family spent a few days here! It was wonderful to see them and have a chance to visit, play and chat.

Kenny is working on some "homeschooling" with his new friend!

We couldn't resist showing off the sites of Magrath and Lethbridge, the Lees are climbing some stairs to reach the top of a coulee.

The kids had such fun. They played ball, baked a cake, shared toys and had a wonderful time

We were sorry to see them leave!

Snowing in September

We were so excited to see snow fall. The kids dressed up and headed out to play. Kenny loved it, as cold as it was. Nicole went out to pick the apples off of our tree. The branches were already heavy from the apples, with the added weight of this unusually wet snow actually broke a main tree branch.

It has been a whole month, and I am getting busy, and haven't posted in a while.... I better fix that quick!

We have gotten into the homeschool routine, and computer is not something we get to often.

I will take some pictures, and hopefully post them friday...
