Bird Feeder!
We get excited around here when we have a busy time at the bird feeder. It it in the apple tree, just outside the front window.
Here is a picture of the Blue Jays we have seen the past few days. They migrate, and are just travelling through. The same with the chickedee's.
Here is also the house sparrows that live here year round.

Just the Boys
Boy don't we look good!Kenny is showing off his new hair cut. He is all dressed and ready to go the church. He even asked for the tie!
Daddy eats freshly roasted pumpkin seeds. He is also holding Adrian, all dressed up from church! What cute looking guys!

The Praire

Where the wind blows,
and the wheat grows,
is home to me,
it's the praire you see.
Two days before Halloween...
... and all through the house, every creature was stirring, (but not a mouse). The children were dressed all snug in their coats, snow pants, mittens, hats and scarves, as visions of snow forts, danced in their heads.As for Mama and Papa...
we stayed inside where it was warm,
not wanting to venture out in the storm.
We imagined a Halloween, crispy and cold,
And wished we could ... Rhyme..
