The birth of Adrian Stanley Lynch on July 5,2006.
He weighed 10lbs 6.8oz and was born at 10:43pm.
Mommy's labour this time was induced with a 1/4 of a pill taken at 2:00pm, and 6:00pm. At 8:00 she was thinking she might be in labour, 20 minutes later she was sure. We all helped load up the van with bags for Mommy, the baby, and us. We were at the hospital at 9:00pm.
We kids snacked, played with toys, and drew pictures in the labour room with Auntie Mandy, while we waited for the baby to be born.
It was fast this time. Tracy was not as quiet and calm as the other times, she found it harder to handle, and complained about not being able to do it this time.

She was so far out of control, she felt the need to ask for some pain medication, and was given a mixture of Demerial and Gravol, as well as some Laughing Gas.
Within seconds, she relaxed enough, and was ready to push. With lots of work, she pushed out the head, and was told to keep pushing. The shoulders were stuck, and the cord was around the neck. With much more effort, she managed to push the shoulders out, and reach out to hold the baby for a few seconds.

The baby was very blue, and not breathing. Dr. Dahl cut the cord quickly, and took the baby. The nurse called the other doctors, and within seconds, we could hear footsteps running up the hall. There was a large flurry of activity, and the baby was surrounded by doctors and nurses. We were not able to see much, but whatever they did worked, and the baby started breathing and pinked up in colour.

The kids did not get to see much of this delivery as they had with the others in the past, but they we very good, and stayed out of the way and waited for their turn to hold the baby.
We took Tracy and the Baby to the room for the night. We all took turns holding the baby.
Daddy is standing in front of the clock. The baby is about 1 hour old and happy and heathly!
