MAGRATH DAYS

Magrath had its big yearly party again this year, our family attended. It was so much fun. Here we are sitting out at the side of the roading waiting for the parade to start.

Friday was a Free Breakfast put on by the Bank. Saturaday Morning the Lions Club put on a Pancake Breakfast Funraiser. We all had two helpings of Pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns and sausages.

We then set up our chairs for the Parade at the side of the road. Places were going fast, and it was still 3 hours till Parade time. We saw horses, and buggies, family floats, emergancy vehicles, and lots of candy!

We saw the Lawmore races, scateboard Demos, the kids jumped in the boucing things, and went into the petting zoo. We then found a shady spot to enjoy the proformances until the Beef on a Bun was served. We all ate drank, and enjoyed our chips, pop, and ice cream. We watched more preformances, then walked over for the fireworks and HUGE BonFire.

It was a wonderful day, full of fun, and a great way to spend time together!

Visitors coming

Posted by Picasa
We are having Visitors for most of July! Nana, and Gramps Shortt, and Uncle Andrew are flying out tomorrow, and will be staying with us! We are so excited and can't wait to have them here. We plan to go camping together with the Holthe's next weekend. Our BIG Magrath Day's are coming up too, and I am sure we will all have lots of fun!

Uncle James here to Stay!

Grandpa and Nana Moore just returned from a very quick, just over one week to get there and back, trip to Ontario. They drove across the country and picked up Uncle James and all his things, then drove back again. We are very excited because Uncle James (Tracy's Brother), is coming to live out in Alberta. He is eighteen now and decide to come live out here with his Dad. We can't wait to be able to see him more often and have him as part of our lives here. I know he will be missed back in Ontario!

Canada Day

We celebrated Canada day this year by attending the Raymond Parade!

The kids shouted and clapped and received more then enough candy! We saw bands, and lots of floats, but around here the floats are mainly family floats (All the Zobells fill the one float, etc.) There were also a lot of horses and their riders. It was lots of fun! What a great way to celebrate.

There were fireworks in lethbrige, but we decided to pass on them.

It was great to have daddy home all day and spend the day whole day together.
